Chain, with Chain clip is weaker than endless or rivets Chain. For O-Ring /And X-Ring we recommend the rivet to use. Please care the Recommendation of manufacturer. Pease double-check with our Catalogue, if you choose the right Chain and connecting element. Wrong choice may be destroy your bike and your health. Please use the clips till 600 cc and max 50PS only. See the using up of the chain guide. The defect chain guide can destroy the O- or X-Rings, the chain can split or the chain can destroy the swing-arm. Remove the chain clip of your old chain. In case of a closed or riveted chain you use appropriate chain separation equipment to open and the chain. We recommend in this case sanding the supernatant heads off of the rivet pins in the place, where you want to separate the chain, first with an angle sander - the separation equipment relieves. Remove then the old chain. Install now your new chain and connect the two ends of the chain with the new chain clip greased before. With O-ring /X-Ring chains make sure you please that all gaskets sit at the intended positions and are also greased. With the clip the closed side of the tie-clip must always point to direction of travel. Use for rivet locks only for it intended tools. Pay attention thereby to the operating instructions of the equipment. The CZ chains are manufactured after the new standards and corresponds the ISO9001 standard.
